Bola Blanca Committee

GOAL:

To host a golf tournament that will promote the image of the Chamber and identify Webb County as a sport destination, and will raise funds for Chamber operational needs.

The Laredo Chamber of Commerce in 1997 teed off with the first Bola Blanca (White Ball) Chamber Classic golf tournament. It has become an annual event.
Participants to the tournament receive Bola Blanca souvenirs and are eligible for top prizes including trophies.

Cola Blanca Committee

GOALS:

Promote Laredo and the surrounding area by using the hunting industry to showcase one of our area's greatest natural resources--the whitetail deer.
Draw more visitors to Laredo via the "Cola Blanca Big Buck Contest" and related activities.
Continue to draw community support in promotional efforts.
Continue the growth experienced over the past several years.
Expand the contest to include additional sponsored activities to provide registrants with a value-added package.
Continue "Cola Blanca Scholarship" program.
Remain operational through funding by Webb County, City of Laredo, sponsorships, and generated income (entries, souvenirs, raffles, auctions, etc.)

Laredo Trade & Travel Center
GOAL: Monitor the services provided by the Laredo Trade & Travel Center (Laredo TTC) in Monterrey.

Promotions & Attractions Committee
GOAL: Promote Laredo and Webb County as visitor destinations.
