GOAL:

To promote a business-friendly atmosphere and welcome new businesses into the community. To increase participation at ribbon cutting, business after hours and grand opening ceremony.
Binvenidos is the Spanish term for welcome.
Appropriately so, the Chamber committee charged with welcoming new members into the organization carries that name.
The Bienvenidos Committee hosts an average of three to four events weekly in support of the Chamber membership. From Ribbon Cuttings to Business After Hours, the hardworking members of the group devote off time off their regular work schedule to make sure that new business owners and recent arrivals to the community are made to feel at home. And doing this has its payoff.
Participation in welcoming events offers the members of the committee an excellent opportunity to network.
